Gia's Journey: Finding a Second Home at Ronald McDonald House Westchester

For seven-year-old Gia and her family, Ronald McDonald House Westchester became more than a place to stay during her treatment for leukemia. It became a second home.

Over the course of Gia’s medical journey, her family spent more than 300 nights at the House, finding comfort, support and a community that helped them stay close to her care at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

Now, after completing chemotherapy, Gia is looking forward to something every child deserves: simply being a kid.
